Description:
Have you ever had to put a large file onto a floppy disk and Winzip couldn't compact it enough? Well, File Chopper can literally chop your files into tiny pieces so you can fit it onto a few floppy disks. After you chop it up, you just rebuild the file on the other computer. File Chopper also fits onto a disk. Handy for computers without CD burners and CD drives.

This software is perfect. It's simple, small, stable, and fast. All it dose is split files up and put them back together. It can split them so you can put them back together with out using it. The files can even be joined on a DOS system, and File Chopper works on Windows 95 (possabley with Windows 3.1 if Win32 is installed). Chopping files is all it dose and it dose it well and nothing more. The interface is simple and self explanitory so very few would not be able use it. File Chopper has all of its code inside it's self so you don't need to install it to use it. Infact you can slap it on the media you are using and use it on any computer without running the installer. As a bonus, you can manualy join files with out the batch file if you know the copy command well. I have used it to transfer 10 megabyte programs from my school to my computer at home with floppies with out fail. Another use for this program is backing up things on your hard drive. Simply put, you can't improve much on this program for what it dose.
