Review: 7-Zip
is very similar to WinRaR in the layout, but 7-zip excels in one major
area. It allows you to compress your files in 5 different
formats. This is a great program to have around when your trying
to open downloads off the net. Also includes BZip2 support, which
scored the highest in our File
Compression Tech Article. Just like the other zipping
programs, 7-zip has a wide selection of speeds to compress at. The
slower you zip the file the smaller the file gets. Also allows you
to add passwords to your compressed files.
